WHAT TO EXPECT

When you worship with us at Irondale United Methodist Church, you will experience a friendly and relaxed form of traditional Christian worship in a beautiful sanctuary designed for choral music. You will hear inspirational music from our Chancel Choir as well as congregational hymns. In addition to the weekly pastoral message, Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month at the 11 AM service and weekly at the 9 AM service. Dress is typically business casual, but wear what makes you most comfortable and know that you are welcome no matter what.

WHAT IS A UNITED METHODIST?

United Methodists originated out of the Anglican church in the 18th century through the leadership of John Wesley. Over time, this movement turned into a denomination focused on God’s grace for everyone, compassion for our neighbors, and a devotion to holy living. Feel free to ask one of our pastors about our faith tradition, or visit the United Methodist Church website.
